ADMINISTRATION & OPERATIOns assistant (PART-TIME)

We’re hiring!

We're on the hunt for a highly organised, proactive and creative-thinking Admin & Operations Assistant to work closely with our Director across all aspects of Shire Scout and Scout Socials.

From content support to proposal prep and invoicing, no two days will look the same in this hybrid role. You'll need to be someone who thrives on variety, can think on their feet, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and jump in where needed.

Your day-to-day:

Admin & Operations

  • Managing general inbox enquiries and forwarding as needed

  • Invoicing, tracking payments and processing expenses

  • Reconciling business accounts with direction from our Director

  • Supporting with personal admin tasks that relate to the business

Marketing & Social Media Support

  • Assisting with light content creation (think sourcing photos, Canva templates, proofreading captions)

  • Researching trends and content ideas for our clients

  • Monitoring social media inboxes and community engagement

  • Flagging important DMs, comments or trends for the team

Client Proposals & Meeting Support

  • Assisting in preparing and updating proposals

  • Coordinating internal meetings and client appointments

  • Preparing agendas and taking notes when needed

You’ll love this role if you…

  • Have great attention to detail and strong written skills

  • Enjoy a mix of admin and creative tasks

  • Are confident using tools including Canva, Xero, and Notion

  • Are comfortable working independently and love staying organised

  • Are Sydney-based (ideally in or near the Sutherland Shire)
